Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dental office required
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Windows operating system, Microsoft Office and dental practice management software (Open Dental)
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Greeting patients and visitors in a warm and welcoming manner
- Communicating with patients regarding their treatment plans and answering any questions they may have
- Scheduling appointments to build a productive schedule
- Verifying patient insurance benefits and collecting payments
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or degree preferred
