Exciting opportunity for a Rad Tech in a state-of-the-art Cath Lab, seeking experienced professionals ready for a challenging and rewarding role!
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support
- Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT)
- Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R)
- 1 year experience in a Cath Lab setting
Responsibilities
- Performs special/invasive radiology procedures on patients ensuring compliance with all radiation safety procedures
- Enters and monitors patient data
- Performs quality assurance on radiology equipment
- Identifies and reports any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions
- Takes emergency call within the department
- Ensures safe care to patients, staff, and visitors
- Promotes individual professional growth and development
Education
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
