Description
Looking for an enthusiastic Health Plan Liaison to facilitate communication between Outpatient UM team members and Health Plan personnel. Join our team at MedPOINT Management and be the vital link in overseeing referral requests.
Qualifications
- High School graduate or GED equivalent
- 1 year of experience in the medical field
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Word and Excel
- Proficiency in EZ CAP a plus
Responsibilities
- Communicate with OP UM nurses and coordinators to identify Health Plan delegated decisions
- Complete Health Plan service request forms and submit for decisions
- Assure requests adhere to CMS and DMHC regulations for timeliness standards
