As a Crossing Guard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe passage of children and pedestrians at designated school zones.
Your responsibilities include directing traffic when necessary, communicating effectively with children, parents, and community members, and demonstrating patience and awareness at all times.
Prior experience as a crossing guard is not required; however, a passion for community service and child safety is essential. You'll receive on-the-job training to equip you with the skills you need for this vital role.
The starting hourly rate is $20 with opportunities for advancement and benefits available after one year. Work hours are coordinated with school schedules, typically between 7:30am to 9:00am and 2:30pm to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
